A choir born out of poverty and strife to become one of Wales most prestigious choral organisations.
Inaugurated on May 24th 1924, they are now in their 91st year of continuous music making, historically the oldest established choral organisation in the Rhondda Valley. Pendyrus Male Choir is in constant demand performing around 25 engagements annually. In addition, the Choir undertakes performances on television, at national and promotional events and provides corporate and after-dinner entertainment. This famous Welsh male voice choir can provide a complete show, including solo artistes. The Choir is also available to sing at weddings. Pendyrus, often referred to as the ‘Ambassadors of Welsh Music’, is one of the most travelled of the Welsh male voice choirs. To date, 27concert tours have been undertaken since 1965. Details .
